Description: This recall involves certain units of the 2023 Slide & Seek Ball Runs, which are wooden toys with a plastic ball ramp that is included in Lovevery’s Babbler Play Kits for children aged 13 to 15 months. The recalled units of the Ball Run have a wooden knob on the door, do not have a Lovevery logo engraved on the bottom, and do not have a green sticker on the inside wall of the door with the wooden knob. 

Remedy: Consumers with a recalled ball run should immediately take it away from children, stop using it, and contact Lovevery for a free replacement. Consumers will receive a free replacement after registering on the firm’s website, removing and marking the affected door with a specific case number (which will be emailed to known purchasers), uploading a photo of their marked door to www.recallrtr.com/ballrun, and affirming to Lovevery that the door will be disposed of in the trash. Lovevery is contacting all known purchasers directly.

Incidents/Injuries: Lovevery has received 33 reports of the wooden knob detaching during shipping and six reports of the wooden knob detaching after shipment. No injuries have been reported.

Sold At: Online at Lovevery.com as part of the Babbler Play Kit from June 2023 through November 2023 for about $120 for the kit.

Description: This recall involves Ekouaer girl’s nightgowns made of 95% cotton and 5% spandex, with a screen print on the chest. The nightgowns were sold in short sleeves in sizes 110, 120, 130, 140 and 150. The nightgowns were sold in the following 13 colors: clear blue, lilac, light blue, light green, light gray, gray, pink, navy, light pink, purple, rose, white and yellow.

Remedy: Consumers should immediately take the recalled nightgowns away from children, stop using them and contact Ekouaer for a full refund. Consumers should destroy the nightgowns by cutting them both vertically and horizontally and disposing of them in accordance with local and state recycling laws. Consumers should send an image of the destroyed recalled nightgowns to Ekouaer by email at walshkelly15@gmail.com. Upon receipt of the photo, consumers will be issued a full refund of the purchase price.

Name of Product: NextGen Children’s Bicycles

Hazard: The bicycles do not meet U.S. safety standards for bicycles, posing crash and injury hazards to children. The 10-inch, 12-inch, and 16-inch bicycles are equipped with hand brakes but no footbrakes. The 20-inch bicycles are not equipped with a chain guard and the pedals do not come with reflectors. Federal regulations require bicycles with seat heights that measure at or below 25 inches to be equipped with foot brakes and require a full coverage chain guard, intended to prevent entrapment of clothing or body parts.

Description: This recall involves plastic New Age furniture tip restraint kits that were sold and distributed by various furniture companies with clothing storage units. The New Age tip restraint kits included a plastic zip-tie, two brackets, and two screws and were sold with clothing storage units manufactured in Vietnam. The date of manufacture should be listed on a sticker or stamped on the clothing storage unit as November 2019 or later. The packaging of the recalled tip kits is white with black lettering and includes directions on how to anchor furniture. The bottom of the packaging states “Manufactured by New Age Industries.”

Remedy: Consumers should immediately check if their clothing storage unit has a date of manufacture sticker or stamp of November 2019 or later. If so, and if the tip kit is made of plastic, consumers should contact Alliance4Safety for a free replacement tip kit. Keep children away from the unit while waiting for a replacement tip kit.

Incidents/Injuries: Furniture companies have received two reports of the New Age tip kits breaking. No injuries have been reported.

Description: This recall involves Class 2 Sinch.2 electric bicycles. The folding, 500w e-bikes were sold in silver (quicksilver) and blue (sapphire.) The e-bike has front and rear tires and foldable handlebars. The name “Aventon” is printed on the side of the downtube of the e-bike frame and “Sinch.2” is printed on the chain stay that runs to the rear of the bicycle connecting the rear wheel to the frame.

Remedy: Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled e-bikes and contact a Ride Aventon authorized dealer to schedule a free repair, including a software update to the controller.

Incidents/Injuries: The firm has received six reports of the recalled e-bikes accelerating unexpectedly. No injuries have been reported.

PARSIPPANY, N.J.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Reckitt/Mead Johnson Nutrition (MJN), a producer of nutrition products, announced today that it has voluntarily chosen to recall from the U.S. market select batches of Nutramigen Powder, a specialty infant formula for the dietary management of Cows Milk Allergy (CMA) in 12.6 and 19.8 oz cans, due to a possibility of contamination with Cronobacter sakazakii in product sampled outside the U.S. All product in question went through extensive testing by MJN and tested negative for the bacteria.

Cronobacter bacteria can cause severe, life-threatening infections (sepsis) or meningitis (an inflammation of the membranes that protect the brain and spine). Symptoms of sepsis and meningitis may include poor feeding, irritability, temperature changes, jaundice (yellow skin and whites of the eyes), grunting breaths and abnormal movements. Cronobacter infection may also cause bowel damage and may spread through the blood to other parts of the body.

Nutramigen in 12.6 and 19.8 oz containers was manufactured in June 2023 and distributed primarily in June, July, and August 2023. Based on the limited availability of the remaining stock of this special infant formula, it is believed that much, if not all, of the products recalled in the United States have been consumed. There are no reports of illnesses or adverse events to date. The products were distributed through retail stores nationwide. The batches in question can be identified by the batch code on the bottom of the can.

The following recalled product batch codes and can size associated with each batch were distributed in the U.S.:

• ZL3FHG (12.6 oz cans);
• ZL3FMH (12.6 oz cans);
• ZL3FPE (12.6 oz cans);
• ZL3FQD (12.6 oz cans);
• ZL3FRW (19.8 oz cans); and
• ZL3FXJ (12.6 oz cans).

The products have a UPC Code of 300871239418 or 300871239456 and “Use By Date” of “1 Jan 2025”.

No other U.S. distributed Nutramigen batches or other Reckitt products are impacted.

Reckitt/Mead Johnson Nutrition manufactured additional products during this finished product campaign and distributed them outside of the U.S. Reckitt/Mead Johnson Nutrition will be contacting the regulatory authorities in each of those countries to determine the proper disposition of those products.

Hazard: The high chairs pose a suffocation risk because they were marketed, intended, or designed for infant sleep, and they have an incline angle greater than 10 degrees in violation of the CPSC’s Infant Sleep Products Rule and the Safe Sleep for Babies Act. In addition, the high chairs pose finger laceration and entrapment hazards as they failed to meet mandatory requirements under the high chair standard.

They have a footrest, a detachable tray, seat cushion, and four static or rotating wheels with locks. “HEAO” is on the high chair’s head support of the seat cushion and on the front of the tray. “Max Lead Int’l Ltd. 3113 Glenfield Ave., Dallas, TX 75233 (302) 448-4207” is printed on a label stitched on the back of the seat cushion.

Remedy: Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled high chairs and contact Brandline for instructions on how to dispose of the products and receive a full refund.

Incidents/Injuries: The firm is aware of one incident that resulted in a laceration to a child’s finger that required medical attention.
