Hazard: The recalled magnetic cubes violate the mandatory standard for toys because the cubes were packaged with loose high-powered magnets, posing an ingestion hazard to children. When high-powered magnets are swallowed, the ingested magnets can attract each other, or other metal objects and become lodged in the digestive system. This can result in perforations, twisting, and/or blockage of the intestines, blood poisoning and death.

Description: This recall involves CuberShop’s Magnetic Stickerless Speed Cubes, model YJ MGC 5×5. The products are a handheld 5×5 mechanical puzzle cubes that consists of interlocking plastic pieces. The Speed Cubes have six colored sides and the “MGC” logo printed on the center of the cubes. The Speed Cubes come in a box with “MGC” and “5×5” printed on the sides of the box. The product’s packaging included spare magnets that were packaged separately in a sealed plastic bag.

Remedy: Consumers should take the recalled loose magnets away from children, stop using them immediately, and contact SKY CUBE HK for information on how to receive a $5 refund. Consumers will be asked to throw away the magnets and email a photo of the disposed magnets to recall@cubershop.com. Consumers may keep the cube.

Hazard: The recalled sound maker violates the mandatory safety standard for consumer products with button cell and coin batteries because the lithium coin batteries can be accessed easily by children, posing an ingestion hazard. When button cell or coin batteries are swallowed, the ingested batteries can cause serious injuries, internal chemical burns, and death.

Description: This recall involves full-size and twin-size Merax Murphy beds with model numbers GX000392AAK, GX000391AAK or GX000383AAK, all sold in white. The beds are designed to be wall-mounted and can fold into a cabinet. The following model numbers and SKU codes are included in the recall:

• GX000392AAK — SKU Codes WF530245, WF530246, WF530247, WF530248 — 78.2” L x 108.4” W x 99” H
• GX000391AAK — SKU Codes WF530240, WF530241, WF530242, WF530243 — 78.2” L x 93.2” W x 99” H
• GX000383AAK — SKU Codes WF324470, WF324471, WF324472 — 76” L x 95.2” W x 83.8” H

The same product may have been sold by other marketplace sellers under different brand names such as Euroco, Harper & Bright Designs, Modern Luxe, Polibi, other brand names or without a brand name. The SKU code on all recalled products, regardless of brand name, is located on a sticker on the inside frame of the recalled Murphy beds.

Remedy: Consumers should stop using the recalled Murphy beds immediately and contact GigaCloud Technology for a free repair kit. Consumers that have not assembled the Murphy bed will receive a repair kit consisting of unloaded piston springs, updated assembly instructions and inspection instructions. Consumers that have assembled the Murphy bed will receive inspection instructions. If the consumer determines that the Murphy bed is assembled incorrectly, GigaCloud Technology will provide the consumer with a professional installer to correct or complete the installation, at no cost to the consumer.

Incidents/Injuries: The firm has received two reports of the Murphy beds falling during assembly, when the Murphy beds were not anchored to the wall, resulting in two injured consumers. One consumer sustained bruising to his head, neck and right shoulder and one consumer sustained a hit to his head, and scrapes and bruises on his arms.

Description: This recall involves DUMOS Nine-Drawer Fabric Dressers. They were sold as television stand dressers in white, black, gray and brown, have a metal frame that measures about 13.4 inches wide, 47 inches long and 31.3 inches tall, and weigh 31.5 pounds. The dressers have LED lights and built-in power outlets and ports with an attached electrical cable. SKU WMEDX-FC-TVK9CDC-RT, WMEDX-FC-TVK9CDC-GY, WMEDX-FC-TVK9CDC-BK or WMEDX-FC-TVK9CDC-WT” is printed on a label attached to the product packaging.

Remedy: Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled dressers if they are not anchored to the wall and place them in an area that children cannot access. Consumers should contact DUMOS for a full refund. Consumers will be asked to destroy the dressers by cutting the drawers in half and writing in permanent marker “RECALLED”, and to send a photo of the destroyed dressers to dumosdresserrecall@dumos.com. Consumers should then dispose of the recalled products.

Hazard: The recalled baby loungers violate the mandatory safety standard for infant sleep products. Description: This recall involves Topyond white pool drain port with cover, sold as a Port Replacement Drainer for swimming pools. The plastic unit comes in a cardboard box with “SP-2850V” printed in bold, and a label which reads: “X004F4YG5X, Topyond Pool Drain Port Repl. MADE IN CHINA”. Included in the box are stainless steel screws. The Topyond Pool Drain Port measures 9.1 inches by 6.7 inches and has a 2.3-inch opening for connection. There is no labeling or product identification on the product itself.

Remedy: Pool owners, pool operators and consumers should stop using pools with the recalled pool drain port and cover immediately and contact Topyond for a full refund. To receive a refund, consumers should remove the drain cover from the pool, write “RECALL” with a marker on the cover, take a photo, then dispose of it. If feasible, disable the drain cover by cutting the perimeter structure to prevent reinstallation or further functional use. Send the photo to Topyond by email at topyondrecal@outlook.com. Ensure all pools and spas have VGBA-compliant drain covers and teach children to stay away from drains.
