Friday, April 1 is Wear Blue Day!

April is Child Abuse Prevention Month, and Friday, April 1 is Wear Blue Day! National Child Abuse Prevention Month recognizes the importance of families and communities working together to strengthen families to prevent child abuse and neglect, just as we do with our CASA advocacy. Below are some ways YOU can get involved this April!

  1. Wear Blue
    This Friday and every Friday in April, wear blue to raise awareness.
     
  2. Learn More
    Interested in resources or additional information on Child Abuse Prevention? Visit the Dept. of Health and Human Service’s CAP Month page to get started learning more!
     
  3. Post on Social
    If you’re comfortable, share a picture of yourself in blue or information on how your friends and family can do their part to prevent child abuse using the hashtags below:
