Description: The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) is warning consumers to stop using Babypark 3-in-1 children’s carriers immediately. The carriers violate the mandatory safety standard for soft infant and toddler carriers because the leg openings are large enough that a child can slip through them, posing a deadly fall hazard.
CPSC urges consumers to stop using the carriers immediately and dispose of them. Do not sell or give away these hazardous products.
CPSC issued a Notice of Violation to the seller Guangzhou Beiyou Maternal and Infant Products Co., Ltd. doing business as Beiyou Bless, of China. Beiyou Bless has not agreed to recall these products or offer a remedy to consumers.
This warning involves the Babypark-branded soft infant and toddler carriers. The 3-in-1 fabric carries are gray with a multicolored leaf design and have adjustable shoulder and waist straps. The children’s carriers can be used in three different positions: front facing, back facing and on the back. “babypark” is stitched on a brown fabric patch on the front of the carrier.
