Hazard: Improper Warning Labels/FMVSS 213

Without the safety warnings and instructions, caregivers may not know the risks or how to properly use the child seat, increasing the risk of an injury in the event of a crash.

Remedy: DCA will notify the registered owners, and will provide a replacement fabric cover that has a compliant warning label in place, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin December 9, 2019.

Description: This recall involves the MATVRÅ bibs for infants sold in a two pack with one blue and one red bib with a snap at the back of the neck. The blue bib has a green seam along the outside with white polka dots. The red bib has a yellow seam along the outside with red polka dots. MATVRA, IKEA and the IKEA logo are printed on a white tag on the back of the bib.

Incidents/Injuries: The firm received two reports of the snaps on the bibs detaching. Neither incident occurred in the United States. No injuries have been reported.

Hazard: A drawstring in the sweatshirt hood poses a strangulation hazard to children. Drawstrings can become entangled or caught on playground slides, hand rails, school bus doors or other moving objects, posing a significant strangulation hazard to children.

Remedy: Repair. Consumers should immediately take the recalled sweatshirts away from children and remove the drawstring to eliminate the hazard.

Description: This recall involves 15 styles of youth-sized sweatshirts with the “Hooey” brand or logo and drawstrings in the hood. The sweatshirts are polyester and cotton. The sweatshirts generally have a single front pocket. They were sold in boys’ and girls’ sizes XS, S, M, L, XL. A white size label has the word “Hooey” and “Made in China” and is located at the center back neck of the sweatshirts. A label in the side seam has the garment care instructions.

Recall Summary

ForB dba WAYB (WAYB) is recalling certain WAYB Pico child seats manufactured between February 1, 2019 and May 12, 2019. The headrest’s aluminum tubular frame can break allowing the headrest to detach.

Remedy: The manufacturer is still developing a plan to replace the headrests on the affected seats, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin October 7, 2019. Owners may contact WAYB customer service at help@wayb.com or 1-888-924-9292.

Description: This recall involves Contigo Kids Cleanable water bottles. The base and cover of the clear silicon spout will always be BLACK. Only black color spout base and spout cover models are included in this recall. Contigo is printed on the rim and along the front near the bottom of the bottle. The water bottles come in three sizes (13 ounce, 14 ounce and 20 ounce) and four bottle colors (solid color, graphics, stainless steel and stainless steel solid colors). The water bottles were sold individually as well as in two-packs and three-packs.

Incidents/Injuries: Contigo has received 149 reports of the spout detaching including 18 spouts found in children’s mouths.
