CPSC Urges Consumers to Schedule a Safety Check-Up on Products in Their Homes

WASHINGTON, D.C. –We all know that an annual medical checkup is a good idea to help us stay healthy. The products in consumers’ homes need the same attention at least once every year to be safe. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) is urging consumers to check for unsafe products in their homes.

Protect your children from SECONDHAND SMOKE

As of July 1st, 2020, it is unlawful for a person to smoke in a motor vehicle in Virginia, whether in motion or at rest, when a minor under the age of fifteen is present in the motor vehicle.

Kids’technology maker VTech says the personal information about 5 million of its customers and their children may have been stolen by hackers.  The Hong Kong-based company disclosed the breach of a customer database late last week, but didn’t say how many people could be affected until Monday.  The affected database includes the names, birthdates and genders of child users.
